Recent Picures
Here a few pictures from Christmas morning and after New Years. Tyler is riding his horse in a couple pictures and talking on his phone while playing with his kitchen set in the other. The "phone" is actually the flour from the kitchen set, but he thinks it looks more like a phone. Since Tyler got SO many wonderful gifts for Christmas it called for a play room make over and the addition of a toy shelf. Josh made the shelf in the first picture and it turned out great. It's VERY sturdy and bolted to the wall, so it should hold up the all the abuse that a little boy can give it!

15 Month Check Up
Tyler went for his 15 month check up... a little late but only by a couple of weeks. He got two shots, one in his arm and one in his leg. He won't need any more shots until he's 4! Woo-Hoo!! It wasn't the best experience in the world, but certainly not the worst either. We had been running errands most the morning and he's getting to the point where he's ready to drop his morning nap. So when I tried to put him to sleep after lunch and make sure he was well rested for his appointment I was sure we'd be fine, BUT he didn't take a nap! The baby room was crazy and there were too many fussy babies for him to get to sleep so we went into the doctor's office at 1 with zero naps for the day. He was doing good until he spotted the outlets in the exam room that didn't have covers on them and got ticked off when I wouldn't let him stick his fingers in them. Granted the outlets had a pretty green dot on them that made them even more enticing than normal. Either way we survived and got a clean bill of health. He's walking and running and has a very good vocabulary for his age. He weighed in at 27 pounds and 3 oz and was off the charts in his height at 34 inches! Fortunately for both of us he fell asleep in the car before we were even out of the parking lot and slept for a good hour and half.
