So, I had an appointment today and it was eventful to say the least!! Mrs. Kay came with me for my weekly check up so she could sit with Rhoby while I went to the back for my exam. Well we were getting out of the car and I went to get the stroller and she offered to get it out for me, so I said okay and went to get Rhoby out of his seat while she worked on the stroller. Well she gets the stroller out and closes the trunk and I get Rhoby out and close the door... then realize suddenly that not only is Rhoby's diaper bag still in the car, but my purse with keys inside of it is in the trunk!! We did have the baby though and his pacifier... so we were going to be okay for a little while, or at least until he got hungry or wet! I went ahead to my appointment and Kristen left work and headed to meet up with Josh to get my spare key and then bring it to the doctors office. She had to leave early and go from downtown to blue bonnet to woman's hospital... quite a trip if you aren't familiar with the roads around here. Anyways, I was in the back with the doc and he asked how my day was and I of course told him all about it. He thought it was pretty hilarious and asked if I would think less of my doctor if he opened the door with a coat hanger. I told him I'd think he was the best ever and kind of laughed about it. I didn't think he was serious though because he still had patients and my car was in the middle of the Sahara Desert parking lot. When I was on my way out he called the front and told them to get me to wait for him, and he comes around the corner with coat hangers and screwdriver in hand! He and Mrs. Kay went down to the car to give it a try and about 20 minutes later he came running out of the stairwell drenched in sweat but smiling and told me that he got it! By this time, Kristen was right down the street but he was just way to excited to tell him any different. Needless to say I need some gift ideas or some way to thank him!
My actual appointment was really exciting too, I'm dilated 2 cm and heading towards delivery soon hopefully. He doesn't seem to think that I will make it to my due date and that is just fine with me!! That's about all the adventure that we could pack into one day... I'm looking forward to staying home with Rhoby tomorrow and doing nothing!

Are we there yet?
I've decided that I'm ready for Tyler to get here. I'm crampy at night and sore during the day and tired pretty much all the time. He's also discovered how to effectively jab me hard enough to make me jump, I'm not sure what he's using exactly but I know that it's pointy!
In other news I'm keeping a little boy, Rhoby, who has just turned 3 months. He really is an easy baby... except for when he has gas, which seems to be a daily occurrence this week. I am getting to try out all my baby gear though, and so far it's a hit. I'm hoping that Tyler picks up on Rhoby's napping schedule and we can all nap together, I'm sure it will take some work but it would be worth it to be able to get them both down at once so I could crash as well! When Rhoby leaves I have a little girl who comes for an hour or two until her mom gets off work. She's really about as much work as the baby. She has some sort of super store of energy and makes me tired just watching her! The good news is that when Tyler is born I'm taking three weeks off of all babysitting to get to spend some time with just him and Josh and also to recover. I have an appointment this afternoon and I'm hoping that we are making some progress in the way of getting Tyler here! I know I have another month technically, but I've never been known for being patient... hopefully he inherited that trait of mine and will want to get here just as fast as we want him here!
Oh well, I guess I need to go and get dressed and take advantage of nap time while I can!

Dr. Appt and FLORIDA!
Visiting the beach!
We had our 32 week appointment the Friday before we left for Florida. Everything was good, I gained a half a pound and was given the all clear to travel to Florida for the week. We left on Saturday and had a long ride ahead of us, other than a little bit of traffic around the tunnel it was smooth sailing. All of Josh's side of the family was there. We had ten adults and two kiddo's all in one house! We each took a night to cook and then all went out to McGuire's one night together and ate way too much! The weather was great for the entire week, we had a few clouds but they were pretty few and far between and provided a much needed break from the sun. The jelly fish were out and Kristen designated herself as Tyler's protector and stayed on the look out for the nasty little buggers when we were in the ocean cooling off in between sun sessions. It was a really nice week and we had a great time. It was good to see everyone all together, and especially to be able to see Kaden and Charlotte. It was also Tyler's last road trip to Florida before he's born, next time we go back he will get to actually see the beach... instead of just wondering why in the world he's floating way more than normal and what those strange ocean sounds are that he's been hearing. It is nice to be home, but I'm starting to realize that I have a lot to do and only 40 something days to get it done!! I need that nesting bug to kick in so I can get all his clothes washed and a few other things organized and put away.
