Mr. David took Tyler for a tractor ride this afternoon. Tyler is always amazed by the tractor and golf carts as they whiz by. He literally stares at them with his mouth gaping open, so this afternoon he got a special treat and Mr. David took him for a ride! He grabbed for the steering wheel and made himself quite comfortable up there.

6 Months!
Tyler went in for his 6 month check up today. ((drumroll))
He was 21 pounds 3 oz (95-97 percentile) and
He's 27 1/2 inches long (90-95th percentile)
He's 27 1/2 inches long (90-95th percentile)
We all had bets going as to how heavy he was now and of course I won! haha Everyone else guessed over on his weight. I had asked the doctor about his bottles and food intake because he has been dropping his feedings down. At 4 months he was taking 6 bottles a day and now he's barely taking 4 feedings a day. The doctor said to just follow his lead, so I have a feeling we are about to lose one more bottle and start using the sippy cup a lot more often. He really loves his sippy cup and would take it over a bottle any day! He got two shots and will go back for a 9 month check up! I'm probably going to jinx us, but I'm proud to report that we've made it all 6 months without being sick! He's had the sniffles a couple times, but nothing that has required more than some saline nose drops and bulb suction. So **knock on wood** we have a happy healthy little man!

Hilarious little man...
Yesterday Me and Tyler went on a golf cart ride with our neighbors, Wendy and her three boys. We also had two dogs running around with us as our escorts. We went down to the pond so I could see the little cabin they had been working on and the boys started playing fetch with the dogs. Tyler thought this was the BEST thing ever. He would chuckle every time one of the boys threw the stick in and the dogs would splash in after it... but the real laughing started when the dogs would get out and shake the water off. He did this for probably 15 minutes, poor thing probably had a tummy ache after all that laughing!

EASTER BUNNY!
We went to go see the Easter Bunny at the mall today! Tyler smiled SOO big for his picture, he really wasn't concerned with the Easter Bunny in the least though. He was so distracted by everything going on around him that he didn't seem to notice him! We also went to see his Granny and Grandpa and the rest of the Snowbarger family for an early Easter dinner tonight. Kaden and Tyler got to ride around the block in the wagon with his Aunt Melissa and me. He has been going to bed a LOT earlier lately and has been in bed by 8 just about every night.... so he was getting pretty fussy around 7 this evening when we were just leaving to head home. We gave him juice cup to keep him occupied for the ride home and he PASSED out drinking his juice... I'm not sure what they are putting in apple prune juice these days, but it's obviously good stuff!!

Best Buddies!
Goof balls!
Tyler and Rhoby were playing at their little music table this morning and I snapped a couple pictures of them. They have gotten to be best bud's here lately. They "talk" and laugh at one another... and Rhoby really loves climbing and crawling all over poor Tyler. Fortunately Tyler is starting to push up on all fours and hopefully will be able to keep up a little bit better! Right now he can only go backwards, so he's at a pretty big disadvantage when Rhoby decides to come "play."

Swinging!
Josh hung up Tyler's swing this afternoon. Tyler has just dropped his evening nap, so we try and do anything and everything that we can to keep him awake and happy! Swinging is probably going to be our new afternoon event. He really enjoyed it and giggled and laughed his little behind off! Here is a short video of him and Curious George trying it out!

New House!
We survived the whirlwind move! I started packing Thursday... we moved Saturday and were completely in and "mostly" settled by Saturday night. We've already had several visitors! My Dad and Mrs. Marilyn came by, all of Josh's family came over for supper on Sunday night, and my mom came over this morning. Our new neighbors have also been in and out and Mr. David and Mrs. Jerry took pity on us Saturday night and brought us some Raising Canes for dinner. Which was wonderful since we didn't have our fridge yet! All we have left at this point is hanging up pictures and I need to do another full house cleaning to get rid of all the dust and debris that got tracked in. We are still waiting on our new washer, but it won't get here until this weekend... so unfortunately we won't be able to laundry until Saturday *darn* haha. The boys are napping now and I think I'm definitely going to join in on the sleeping today. I'm exhausted!!

Babbling, food, and moving!
Tyler has always been a big talker, but lately he's starting to make a little more sense. His favorite word, to my disappointment, is da da da da dadadad da da da! All I hear all day is Da .... DAda... dadada. He also makes a pretty good g, m, z, and s sound, but the D is his favorite right now! The only time I ever hear him say anything mommy related is when he's crying! Little bugger! He hasn't really made the connection between the sound and the person yet, so I can still hold out that his first real word might be mama... think my chances are slim at this point though!
We are moving into our new house this weekend! Tyler seems to really like the house so far, there are TONS of floor length windows that he can see out of, so he's in heaven! He is an outside boy for sure.
Tyler has also ventured into the world of finger food! I didn't actually plan on letting him start eating finger foods yet, but a couple of Rhoby's puffs were on the high chair tray from when he had lunch few minutes before Tyler. So when I put Tyler in the chair and turned to get his food I turned back around and he was putting a puff into his mouth and chewing it up! I guess he's one step closer to being a big boy, he has also mastered his sippy cup and LOVES juice.
Last but not least Tyler had a play date with a friend of ours little girl, Emma. There is a picture of them playing from the other night. Her big brother Logan came along too, but I don't have that picture on here from some reason!

Road Trip and Josh's Birthday
This weekend we went to Marksville, LA. Tyler's Granny, Grandpaw, Aunt Kristen, Uncle Adam, Aunt Melissa, and cousin Kaden all came along for the trip. Tyler got to meet his Grandma Winnie and Pappy this weekend for the first time. Pappy is recovering from surgery, so we went to see him at the hospital and had a very nice visit. Tyler was very well behaved, considering it was way past his nap time... and he'd been in the car for 3+ hours that day! After visiting with his great grand parents we headed to the Paragon Casino to stay for the night. They had a heated in door pool so he got to take his first dip in the pool!! He LOVED it, and really seemed to be in awe of the whole "gigantic bath tub" concept. There were fountains shooting and a big water fall that he was completely amazed by. He also go to see alligators in the lobby and hang out with everyone at the buffet that night for supper. His eyes were HUGE, when we were walking through the casino to get to the buffet... all the lights and sounds were just overwhelming for him, he literally just stared with his mouth hanging open! He slept very well and for Josh's birthday present (today is his birthday!) Tyler let us sleep until 7:09! haha He gave his daddy 9 extra minutes in bed this morning! Here are some pictures from our visit and of Tyler in the pool!
